3) I wish I knew that every painful surgical procedure, every fertility drug, etc. would all be worth it in the end. I had to go through all of that to be blessed with my son!

Riley was only about 2 hours too.. they enduced me at 11 am, I had him at 1:20.. Boy, I have been super lucky..
3. You never know when you look at your cute little innocent baby how much of a handful they are going to be when they start to walk and talk! LOL

themartins - I agree about treasuring every moment...they grow SOOOO fast!
marylandmommy - Your are so right that it is worth it. As much as we have to go through...medications, surgeries, labor, stitches, etc....it is worth it and I would do it all over again in a minute!
mary - WOW!! You have been EXTREMELY lucky (and I bet many people have told you that before LOL)!! For your first one - is your husband's name listed as the delivering doctor on any official paperwork? That is AWESOME! I think my husband would have a HEART ATTACK!!!! ROFL

1. 3 kids, almost grown. a son, who turns 21 today... AHHHH! another son, 19 and a daughter, 15.
2. All 3 were born c secetion though I was in labor 10 hours with the firstborn.
3. God can cover our parental imperfections. Telling our children "I'm sorry" is extremely important. Our kids need to know that even Daddy and Mommy make mistakes that we need to ask forgiveness from the Lord and others for. (I guess this kinda answers number 4 too but hopefully you'll let me cheat a little.)
4. Be on the lookout for the gifts and talents God has placed within your child. It's amazing how quickly we begin to see glimpses of them. When you recognize those, begin to nuture and encourage those gifts.
